While representing the school, this office is in charge of the research projects, technology cooperation, and related services of the National Science Council, other government offices, and private organizations.
- Assisting the school to cooperate and exchange experiences with research institutes in Taiwan and/or abroad to promote research and teaching standards.
- Organizing all kinds of subsidies and reward plans to upgrade academic research outcomes.
- Managing reviews of the universities of science and technology.
- Managing the affairs concerning international cooperation, cross strait exchanges, and academic exchanges.
- Responsible for contacts with the school's guests and receptions.
- Coordinating affairs related to international cooperation for the school's different offices.
- Arranging exchange activities, visit tours, exchange professors and students with foreign universities and academic research institutes.
- Setting up cooperation plans with academic institutes.
